Yorkshire sign a Batsman for Twenty20

Yorkshire have made their third overseas signing of the winter, with Herschelle Gibbs joining the Tykes for this summer's Twenty20.

The vastly-experienced South African Test opener, 35, had short spells with Glamorgan in 2008 and 2009.

Herschelle Gibbs has made 20 Twenty20 appearances for South Africa

By moving to Headingley, Gibbs becomes the second of four overseas players permitted to be registered for the T20.

Yorkshire's other overseas signing for this summer's competition is Australian all-rounder Ryan Harris.

The Tykes have also signed New Zealand's Daryl Tuffey to cover for Harris' early-season absence.
