Yorkshire have made their third overseas signing of the winter, with Herschelle Gibbs joining the Tykes for this summer's Twenty20.

The vastly-experienced South African Test opener, 35, had short spells with Glamorgan in 2008 and 2009.

Herschelle Gibbs has made 20 Twenty20 appearances for South Africa

By moving to Headingley, Gibbs becomes the second of four overseas players permitted to be registered for the T20.

Yorkshire's other overseas signing for this summer's competition is Australian all-rounder Ryan Harris.

The Tykes have also signed New Zealand's Daryl Tuffey to cover for Harris' early-season absence.

Murray continues!

He will need to avoid lapses in concentration if he is to progress much further, though!

Andy Murray
Murray took a while to warm up but was eventually in cruise-control

Britain's Andy Murray produced a patchy performance but did enough to see off Florent Serra 7-5 6-1 6-4 and make the fourth round in the Australian Open.

The fifth seed raced to a 3-0 lead and finally edged the first set after a brief fightback from the Frenchman.

The second set was a much smoother affair and despite another wobble in the middle of the third, Murray kept his cool to secure victory.

Murray next faces John Isner, who beat 12th seed Gail Monfils in four sets.

Murray admitted he had let his opponent off the hook in the opening set but was pleased to progress.

Broad's three quick wickets after tea left England scenting victory

England will need to take just four wickets on the final day in Durban to win the second Test and seal a first victory in the city since 1964.

A remarkable wicket-taking burst from Graeme Swann (3-22) and Stuart Broad (3-18) left South Africa 76-6 before bad light and rain came to their aid.

They were still 156 runs behind England as the Barmy Army roared its approval.

Shame--Eng would surely have preferred to take the series by winning this game!

Rain set to help England to series win in South Africa

England captain Andrew Strauss
England could become only the second team to beat the hosts in a one-day series in South Africa with Friday's finale in Durban set to be hit by rain.

Only Australia have beaten the Proteas at home in a one-day series, but England lead 2-1 with one game to play.

Drizzle swept across Kingsmead two and a half hours before the scheduled start, with heavier rain forecast to set in by mid to late afternoon.

That left the chances of even a minimum 20-overs-per-side match remote.

England lead the five-match series 1-0 after Sunday's win at Centurion.
